Thank you for your generous comments on my pictures. I think I've found my ideal combination of lens and camera and don't mind sharing. The lens is the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM and the camera body is the Canon 60D, but the Rebel would work just fine and it's lighter. You could stop at that point, or like me, attach a ring flash for extra punch. The strobe does amazing things to the picture and now I don't even try shooting without it. Anyway, that's my close-up rig and new favorite toy. Thanks again for visiting.
