icedancer: Marvelous composition and rich colours plus detail - what a breath taking view of Mt. Hood and the snow making it really stand out
jerseygurl: Congratulations Ted on taking 3rd place in the contest!!!!!!!!
Nikoneer: That lower chimney that is tilting away from the structure appears to be a material printed with "bricks"... while everything else is in a massive state of dereliction, the edges of the chimney are arrow-straight, with no chipping, and the color of the bricks are consistent. If they were real, they could never be held up merely by a pair of 2x4's sticking out from the side of the house. Appearances tell me the rooftop chimney is made of the same material... tin, maybe? Whatever the case, the more modern additions--the chimneys and the No Trespassing and Private Property signs--don't remove any of the charm; they complement it. That gorgeous landscape behind it doesn't hurt, either.

Nikoneer: Holy Mackinoly, this isn't just dereliction, Bob, it's destruction on a large scale. Someone has obviously expended energy to destroy those fixtures on the right and from the condition of the floor I'd say the maid certainly hasn't been in all week. A great one for the contest.

rozem061: I wonder why you not took a shot of the abondoned "complete" barn, Laura.
I M H opinion it looks better on the photo with the complete roof on the top.
Anyway wish you good luck in the current contest !
